A warm welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

My name is Jenna (she/her) and I have always been curious about the human experience. With over 9 years experience as a helper, I am deeply motivated by the people I walk alongside. I believe we all carry unique strengths and gifts and have the innate capacity to heal and grow. Our brains want to heal.

Before becoming a therapist, I had the honour of volunteering for a local, non profit birth control/unplanned pregnancy counselling program, engaged in several practicums counselling University of Manitoba Students, and spent time doing short term counselling with men who were survivors of childhood trauma. The majority of my experience has been supporting survivors of unresolved childhood trauma.

My formal educational path to becoming a therapist first began with a Bachelors degree in Conflict Resolution Studies from the University of Winnipeg (2014), an Applied Counselling Certificate from the University of Manitoba (2016) and both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Manitoba (2018/2020).

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and am a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Manitoba College of Social Workers (#5116).

In my down time, I enjoy spending time connecting with nature and being in the company of my partner and our (VERY) curious puppy. I will not pass up a live concert (as long as I have my Loop earplugs with me), enjoy a good laugh at live comedy, caring for my plants, my yoga practice and quiet moments in a hammock.
